A very simple monophonic synth that was developed and released by Roland in 1980 and was available in blue, gray, and red. While it is favored for its bass sounds, it also has a lovely arpeggiator and an awesome but primitive sequencer. We generally use it for its very high and very low sounds, including the drone sounds heard in RvB Reconstruction.
