It was clear from reading the scripts that Season 16 was going to need early music, lute and such. I was lucky enough to catch John Lenti between tours and schedule a session here in Seattle. I'd never recorded lute or Baroque guitar, and was concerned that my studio wasn't exactly a 15th Century church with 50-foot ceilings — a pretty unforgiving environment. John's technique was so clean and lovely that even the close mics sounded beautiful. This performance, an arrangement of the familiar intro, was used for RVB16E01.
