From RVB13E16. Nico: this tune illustrates the different angles Levy and I have to approaching a cue, and how those angles can work together. We agreed on a key and a tempo and worked separately. Levy came up with these aggressive, dark synth sounds, whereas I had this weird church-like semi-baroque approach, almost like a lament. The guitars on this were supposed to be scratch tracks - they're played clumsily at such a slow tempo, like a wagon with a broken wheel. It turned out we liked how everything sounded together.
